We wanted to let you know about some important date changes for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

According to Federal Student Aid, an office of the U.S. Department of Education, “Students will be able to submit a 2017–18 FAFSA as early as Oct. 1, 2016, rather than beginning on Jan. 1, 2017.” This is a permanent change starting with the 2017–18 schedule.
